The Event
The city of Brasília will host the FISU University World Cup 3×3 Basketball from 14 to 16 November 2025, bringing together the best university 3×3 basketball teams from around the world. Organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU) in partnership with the Brazilian University Sports Confederation (CBDU), the event promises a week of intense competition, cultural exchange, and celebration of university sport.
With athletes from several universities from all five continents and a vibrant atmosphere in the heart of Brazil, the 2025 edition reinforces Brasília’s role as a hub for major sporting events and as a promoter of the values of sport, education, and international integration.
Competition format
Featuring 24 teams, the event will last 03 days and will crown the 2025 FISU World University Cup 3×3 Basketball champions in both Men’s and Women’s competitions.
Shootout contests will also be part of the event.
